I wouldn't worry too much; AI creating entire works of fiction that can replace what humans do is in the far future, and I doubt it's what people actually want.
Like we already saw with social media and are now seeing with chatbots, it only has to be *close enough* to what humans do to put humans out of work. And then we only get the close-enough version. That isn't what we want, so that's why we worry
One thing I don’t see much talked about in the ai discourse, is that the mass customised, individually curated media it is claimed to produce, will destroy every concept of culture. Without a shared media object to enjoy, there is no discussion, no mutual appreciation and nothing to bind us together
