$5.50/day isn't a reasonable poverty line. Mexican Cost of living for a family of four is something in the 1.5k-3k/month range, not even close to enough. Raw income also doesn't account for differing levels of mass murdering disidents :)

This the problem with most capitalism-solves poverty graphs.

Im saying that $5.50/day is not nearly enough to cover $1.5-$3k/month expenses.

The chart you posted would consider a person making $5.51/day in Mexico to be non-poor when they clearly are.
