OK. I absolutely love your posts. I do have kind of a weird question though. Before I look at a lot of these cats my mind is already prepared to see something from another decade. Did cats actually look different from the past than they do nowadays like specifically because of the time period?
Some breeds look different, because of 'trends' in breeding. Eg I can remember Persian cats when I was a little kid in the 70s, & they were nothing like that squash-faced look you see now. Just long coats & slightly shorter noses
My cat's name when I was little and growing up in rural UK was Babby - named by my Granddad or my Dad I suspect. I thought that term was regional to there...I guess I was wrong!
