These are wonderful photos. We have a neighborhood cat - he has no desire to come in the house. Only to eat 4 times a day. Have a snack. Fresh water. And kisses shared by him to our lil chiweenie. Precious.

Just beautiful. This reminds me of my dearly departed cat Tabitha and a baby magpie I was caring for a number of years ago. The bird thought they were friends; the cat thought the bird was a nuisance, but tolerated her.

I managed to achieve this a number of years ago. I had birds & cats for years & trained my cats to ignore my birds when they were let out of their cage during cleaning, but eventually a cockatiel learned he could be a pal to them & vice versa. It was grand!

I had a dog, cat and bird that was the best of friends! I had 3 more dogs and one more cat at that time too but they belonged to their own pack and these 3 formed their pack. They were not rival packs in any way, they just happened prefer different company.
Now it’s only Alice the bird left.
