This may be obvious to many #macOS users, but if your internal drive is APFS and your Time Machine drive takes *forever* to back up, double check that it isn’t still formatted as Mac OS Extended.

Reformatting an older backup drive to APFS reduced my backup times from 15 hours to 15 minutes! 😮
