I made some more dubbing, this time from a $4 grab bag of wool yarn in different colors from a secondhand craft supply store. I specifically wanted to make the ginger color to tie some Squirrel and Ginger emergers, but made a couple other colors, too. #flytying - ThreadSky

It is used to create the bodies for fly fishing flies. It is wrapped, or dubbed, around the tying thread, which is then wound around the hook. For example, I used the orange kind to make the body of this fly.
