Not a fly fishing post 😄 For the last 10 years my wife, Lisa, has asked for a room remodel or piece of furniture for her birthday. This year she asked for our bedroom. Cottage style ceiling with new flooring-carpet replaced with laminate. I've spent 4 days on the ceiling. I'm almost 1/2 way there!🤣

I have a fly rod that broke so I have a replacement section coming. I decided I might as well strip all the guides and rewrap the whole rod and replace the reel seat. Stripping the rod was more time consuming than rewrapping will be 😀

Fly organization? I like double sided boxes. I organize by Aquatic order. I have a box of Mayflies, Stones and Caddis-adults on one side and nymphs on the other (1st 2nd pics show Caddis box) I also have a few all purpose boxes for short outings (3rd/4thpics) How about everyone else?

Trying something new! Most You can see a traditional style stimulator pattern on the left. Its abdomen consists of thread/ floss/yarn wrapped with hackle. I just got a new thread splitter (awesome, btw) and needed to try it out. So I made a dubbing loop 1/2

Tying some classics- the Royal Wulff and Royal Trude. Been a minute since I've tied them and need to work on proportions. I feel like the wings are tied a little too close to the eye and a little long on the Wulff and maybe the tail a little long on the Trude. Critiques welcome. #flytying
