I'm similarly indecisive. January into early Feb are brutally busy for me, so I need something easy & shorter for the next 6 weeks. Thinking of trying Tim Keller's devotional on the Psalms. Then in mid- Feb may launch into a more ambitious plan with more personal, inductive study
I read first thing in the morning after I feed my cat (priorities, lol.), then sometimes reread at night. For me, the 2 year plan of 2-3 chapters Monday through Friday is easier. The best plan is the one that works for you.
The one we did in 2022 always had a short Gospel passage, always had an Epistle passage, and always had two or three OT passages. Sometimes having the first two made it easier to get through certain books of the OT.
I liked the " A chapter a day" one. It's a 3 year plan for reading the Bible, but I get a bit overwhelmed by the Bible in a year ones and it starts to feel like homework.
i’m reading “the bible in a year: The Message.” i didn’t see it on the bible app. i have been getting a little more familiar with that particular translation and i like it. i am still using another translation as well just to compare. i like eugene h. peterson.
Forgive me, I'm not the slightest bit religious, not do I intend to be. I just got a question to ask.
Just wanted to say that I can't think of a single time I've been in a store and saw a Bible. Where do you guys get them? How much does the word of God cost approximately?
Actually it’s funny because my niece just finished the book series, so yesterday we were comparing our ships. And I got to tell her of millennials’ reactions to various plot points when the books first came out.

Would you read the Bible Plan, BibleProject | The Bible, with me? https://bible.com/p/71278139/be04ebeb607e9181f164f7fe896f78cc
I can't decide what I want to do this year. Whole Bible in a year? A particular focus?
That’s a good idea, doing several smaller themed commitments instead of one big commitment.

I generally play the app's audio of the day's reading while I'm driving. Max MacLean reads all the NIV passages, I believe, and his voice is amazing.
And it had no readings on the weekends to let you catch up any readings you hadn't gotten to.
It breaks up reading it over two years instead of 1. I am in year 4 of doing it.
I like having their explainer videos at the start of a book and on key topics.

Looks like that's the one, then. Thanks!
Thanks!
