Important to stop phrasing & headlining things as "Trump does XXX" (e.g. "Trump fires all USPS heads and integrates it under Commerce"); we can simply say he is purporting to do XXX, or claiming the power to do XXX. Mere fact of a president saying he did something doesn't will it into existence.

Despite having 2 school kids, we've had very few illnesses since 2020 (yay masks), and the ones that have made it through our precautions have tended to be serious (2 bouts of Covid from outdoor transmission, 1 flu from an enclosed car) So when I say I've forgotten how miserable a common cold is?

I worked SO HARD to get my asthma under control - I fought it for 2.5 months with every tool I had, and I BEAT IT. I got 2 weeks of full health. Now I have caught the flu my little brother brought home from school (despite all precautions), and symptom #1 is a painful cough. I'm so sad.
