I watched Revenge Song, a fantastic musical of Julie D'Aubigny's life at the 2022 Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. Just looked up the playwright - Qui Nguyen - give her more work! Such a fun and fabulous story and production. Love that D'Aubigny got a major TV introduction last night.

For people curious about the time frame, d'Aubigny was born the same year as the death of Charles de Batz de Castlemore d'Artagnan, and the only one of the inspirations for the Three Musketeers definitely alive when she was born was Isaac de Porthau (Porthos), who died in 1712.
