How will this all play out? Medicaid and SS cuts won’t affect the oligarchs (at least directly), but this will. At the very least they’ll lose workers to preventable diseases, but they’ll also be personally at risk from the spread of disease.

I had my annual checkup in Jan, the doc asked if I wanted the pneumonia vacc. I said yes, here and now, and any others before we don’t have them avail anymore. Never saw him look around so fast with such horrified recognition of truth.

Had a great conversation with a scientist (develops treatments for toxins) about what's happening with the CDC and tariffs. Although his work is about 70% privately funded, the lab does receive government grants. He expects to have to cut 1/3 of the staff, which will translate to unnecessary deaths.
