Yeah. For me, once I got independent in my early 20s and slowly cut fast food for "food at the house," fast food stopped being good to me because it's mostly lower in quality. My body started to somewhat rejected it as good food.
Lotta restaurant owners arent trying to produce quality. They just want the least cost necessary to get you to buy their slop. In the old days folks actually cares about doin good. Aint happenin now.
I feel the same way. I just stick with local spots and food trucks. Less money and more portions. I haven’t eaten fast food from a chain in over a year (Popeyes).
I was wondering if it’s cause I’m getting older and my tastebuds are changing cause I’d go to a few places and decide I’m not coming back after a meal 😭 was not satisfied 3x in a row idk what’s going on

Welcome to my world. No one seems to believe me when I say donuts aren't the same anymore, either I threw out the last dozen I bought and now I just don't bother.
I really didn't want to but people aren't into food sharing and that's an item I wouldn't want to give to dogs because most of them had some form of chocolate. I had like one and a half and it tasted like absolutely nothing, the best case scenario now seems to be slightly better nothing taste.

Most stuff was changed to precut bought or food blender to mush at one of my places probably to cut down on staff.
Many big name chains have swapped to pre frozen, heat up meals wherever they can.
Flavors so far.

Are we broken?
I still have a few favorites that hold up. But I don't branch out as much as I used to because generally the quality is crap
