A, ultimately. I didn't mind two but I really like the party composition with a dedicated healer and sometimes even a tank. A party of 4 really makes that work best.

And, as much as I love Inquisition’s banter… its system did not work as intended.

Without mods, it can be a very quiet game.

2 companions and the dialogue triggers reliably *and* with a mechanism to return to interrupted banter? Great!

Yes. I love the banter in Inquisition! I wish I was able to hear more of it without having to mod my game because I’ve never heard it fire with any regularity without mods. Veilguard banter fires much more often and more reliably.
