Heartbreaking scene! Prior to Smoke saying that to Stack, he had only been that vulnerable with Annie. (Some of my favorite scenes in the movie are when Smoke and Annie are in her hoodoo shop. We get to see another side of Smoke that makes him even more relatable: He isn't just a hardened ganster.)
