This looks wonderful! I'm colorblind, so a ton of colors in this are melding together in my brain and it hurts haha, BUT as per usual, it has your signature charm. I like the glowy lighting on the hand as it touches the magical book.

May I ask which variant of colorblindness you have? I try my best to design my compositions so they’ll read the same to people with colorblindness and full color vision by grouping certain hues together, though this composition is quite busy!

Haha, don't sweat it. I've lived my entire life seeing this way, so I'm used to it.

I have the strong protan variant, where I see a ton of green and very little red. For reference, these two images look exactly the same to me:

In this piece, does the foreground (hand/book/fairy) appear more yellowish to you and the background more blue with flecks of yellow? (In the full color spectrum, the structure is the same just with touches of orange in the fg and purple/pink in the bg)

Yep haha. I have no idea what pink and purple even look like. It's really quite ironic because I'm an animator on YouTube. I usually just copy and paste hex codes for difficult colors, like skin color or certain animals and characters.

That’s cool! Pink is a color with a “soft” impression, a bit similar to the 6th surfboard in the image you showed. Purple is a color with a “deep“ impression, similar to the 12th surfboard
