Earlier this week, Colbert made an insipid old Biden joke. I was like, "really, now?" He has redeemed himself later this week, but WTF? Jon Stewart is also pissing me off. He acts like this shit is normal because he went to Congress once. I was a lobbyist, and he is subtly making it normal.
He did not give Israel free rein. I agree that he was ineffective at stopping them and I believe he could have done things differently, but I have never tried to beat sense into Netanyahu, so I can't be sure. Biden is a politician. Working with the criminally insane is not his strong suit.
Stopping the sending of 2000 lb bombs will never be nothing in my book. I don't know if any other arms were held up also. He claimed not to know about the others.
Listen, I gather we play for the same team here, but that’s not nearly good enough. Just because he wasn’t worse doesn’t mean he was good enough in this situation. I voted for him, but he was still disappointing, which is my point.
No we really aren't on the same team. I firmly believe that the people who felt the need to point out every flaw and scream from the rooftops about genocide Joe are the reason we have Trump.
If that isn't you, I apologize for my assumptions.
no but he is a self-proclaimed zionist who is complicit in giving tens of billions of dollars in weapons to help fund a gen0cide for well over a year, which will be his legacy
"Zionist" /n, "a person who believes in the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel."
Pretty much summarizes America's position since Harry Truman recognized Israel (1948). Biden was stuck between a rock (the Middle East) and a hard right wing nut, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Just so you understand, I am adamantly opposed to Netanyahu's West Bank expansion / settlement policy. I am against blunt force, "Eye for an Eye" retaliation. America supports the wish for a democratic country in the Middle East: Israel. But Israel has nose-dived under Netanyahu.
Have you heard what Trump plans to do with the people of Gaza? He wants to move them to another country. His son-in-law wants to develop Gaza for resorts. Trump & his ilk🤮
Biden was the best president America had in probably last 20 years yet I heard people not speaking to this saying negative crap Americans need to stop electing people like Trump he did nothing but spitting out bull shit & you people drank it, I just don't understand .
He stood behind the national seal while insurrectionists carried out his wishes. An oath means squat to him. An oath obviously means squat to a whole bunch if Americans too.
I remember when after Trump 2016 we were so upset that Obama would not speak out against Trump. Obama then later said it was an unwritten code of politeness & the Office that any President no longer in office would not criticize a sitting or past President.
I’m starting to loose faith in this party… let labor take the charge if pencil pushers are afraid of the work. We should be on every news segment, news paper, and video; the facts are with us. Why are most Dems so afraid of hitting back, do we have to loose it all before we are ready to fight?!
When you say most Dems, you are really referring to Democratic politicians, right? Because most Dems are me and those like me. We are the Democratic party and if we can't hold our representatives' feet to the fire, we aren't doing our job.
When I say dems I’m referring to party establishment, people in offices that ran under the democratic label, and that are on public payrolls. I honestly don’t believe that democratic voters are necessarily democrats but rather people that didn’t get a better choice in a two party system,
Where does that put me politically… complicated next to Bernie on labor rights, our ability to organize, and advocacy for fair wages for work done. On national defense..a hawks. I’m an immigrant [pro immigration] and value the defense of our freedoms. Currently … It’s time for a loud class war party
Cont. myself personally I am independent. Proud union member but I favor balanced budgets and want folks out of all private affairs. Hands of women’s bodies and autonomy, hands off my husband, and hands of our identities. That’s private. But damn well balance the budget, pay for roads, education etz
Trump has no compassion, no empathy, no respect, no integrity, and limited intelligence. He does nothing but blame and divide people. How he was ever reelected is beyond me. Only people who are equally deficient can support him.
He never did the heil Hitler salute either. Seeing president Elon doing that made me sick. It obviously upset enough people that he had to slither off into the dark until we calm down. Then he'll slither right back in and continue wrecking our government, to line his already way overfull pockets.

Trump on the other hand screams - "I'm the president! I'm immune from your class action!"

while under his watch we fracked like mad men
not any different from 1960's crude oil all the way up
to the 1970's not even slowing down
yet Syukuro Manabe's modeling is no longer a far fetched thesis at all
even with a 20 year plus ocean inertia.
