As someone antithetical to Games Workshop for years (because they killed off D&D in all of their branches very early) - I must compliment them on the development of their IP. I mean just the lore itself is an impressive achievement. And largely with the help of their own community.

I could've swore Space Wolves lore always had tanner darker tones. As they age, they get tanner(and with white hair and longer fangs). True Space Wolves veterans should not be alabaster gingers

Spaces wolves were my first actual army that I managed to finish painting. Sadly, I no longer have them, so I’m sooooo keen for these new minis. And the goofiest boys with them look amazing

Yeah, continuing acknowledgement that in spite of the obvious cultural nod, Fenris is not exclusively populated by pale Nordic looking people.

Which makes sense. It's not like the original colony ships before Old Night were somehow segregated.

The diversity actually makes them look 100% more badass and really elevates the character of the Space Wolves to being more than just a viking charactature. They actually feel like they are champions picked from a range of Fenrisian tribes now.

i'm having trouble describing this elegantly, but there's something going on here that just makes the unifying genetic legacy of the space wolves more obvious. like the marines are a diverse folks but the common element of the geneseed is obvious in the models at banding them together.

I 100% agree. It really gives a feeling of Fenris being a living, breathing, world to the faction and displays that the whole planet has been unified by the Canis Helix.
