There are amazing things happening at college/student newspapers at Florida, Georgia, Penn State, Penn and many other campuses that are beginning to fill some of the gaps left by the absence of local newspapers.

This is really important. As someone harmed by the horrible reality of Chi Alpha in Texas, an A&M journalist was the first to publish a major article about it. The major news agencies followed by days.
