Very worrying that Labour have a muddled approach towards energy,global /domestic environmental issues and British wildlife.I am really disappointed.If no improvement,I will be supporting Green party. Govt needs to challenge those who benefit from harming nature,which affects all of us .

My interpretation of Josh's original post was that he wasn't objecting to the nuclear part, just the AI data centers. So my comment wasn't intended to mean that we should wait for those reactors to be complete before investing in AI, merely that if we don't invest in AI, we'll get left behind.

I am quite happy for *nuclear engineers* to build small nuclear power *if* they have strong independent supervision from UK AEA and UN IAEA and at least one University team.

I would love to see a “distributed smart grid” with wind, solar, battery, V2H, V2G, and micro-nuclear.
