Fred Rodgers on the importance of making something even if other people don't think it's good had me crying this morning. Passing it along for anyone else that might need it.

I fear our current state of affairs might be, in part, due to the loss of Rogers.
I'll be like "you're the only person in the universe who could have drawn that art. Even if you could have described the scene you wanted to pinpoint perfection, it would have come out vastly different from someone else"
As a full-fledged βadultβ, I can honestly say Fred Rogers ended up being one of the coolest public figures to exist in my lifetime.
What he made public was a platonic ideal, a Paragon of patience and knowing and earnestness -- *equanimity*, and social equity especially for youths.
Thanks Mr. Rogers

He would absolutely be proud of you to be you. Nobody in the world can do the good you and only you can.
and tell you that you are capable of being just as good as he was and you're probably getting close you want to
As a grown-up now I try to be like Mr Rogers. It's impossible, of course, but I still try to listen and be nice.
