Also, the winds are so bad it’s made the fires expand much faster and it grounded flights of aircraft to slow the fire down.
Here in NorCal we call them the Diablo winds, which is even more apt.

Seriously though, it is a real warning to us and a reminder that urban areas are not immune.

Do not deposit them into volcanos
Horrendous. Sadly 5 have died but looking at the news reels it's miraculous that number is relatively low.
This winter brought us only wind.
I think the worst case scenario is a dry January but I wouldn’t rule out Late July and August here.
Every worse case scenario is a possibility now.
