you can tell your employer why you aren’t recruiting or interviewing, if you’d like. after all, why would you encourage people to come work at a place that so clearly doesn’t care about them? but you can also just politely decline. these activities aren’t billable. you’re busy.

Continue to include (lawful) DEI-related provisions in your RFPs. It truly makes an impact. If you haven’t done that yet, one place to start is The Diversity Lab’s Mansfield certification, which is a way for firms to (lawfully) mark progress toward a more equitable profession.
