Would it be cheating to say Mega Charizard X? It would? Okay.
Probably Pangoro or Doublade. Kalos has a very limited selection.
I've since hopped off the Zard hate bandwagon, but I still don't really like it all too much. I just think flying on it (or any Pokemon really) would be a cool experience.
The first Protean Starter is great, all around. Even if later regions have better picks, at least the squad of multi-typed masters gets some representation.

On my first ever copy of Y, I vividly remember struggling with the Elite Four (in my defense, I was a kid), but at some point my Fancy Pattern Vivillon from that one event was at Lv 90 and the aftermath solidified it as a favorite.
