It wasn't hard really. I would have gladly bought a Tesla 5 years ago, but after the Cybertruck was unveiled I started to question Elon's competence, and when he bought Twitter to support fascism I realized he was a villain. The brand died forever with his nazi salutes.
Remember, Musk didn't get started until the end of January. The sales decline didn't begin for around another month. I expect that with a full three months of declining sales, Tesla will absolutely crater in 2Q25. I'm sad for the workers who will lose their jobs. Definitely not sad for Musk.

Why would anyone really want to buy a dangerous vehicle that requires a subscription? I’d be paying Tesla monthly ON TOP of the total price of the vehicle just for it to explode or ram itself 60 m/h into a brick wall or semi.
And, importantly, in a manner that Musk can feel and understand. It's a good sign that he sounded like he might cry during the Tesla Q1 Earnings Conference Call. Some of the pain and disorder he has created is starting to reaching him.
