I thought Letchworth was the funniest-sounding garden town. I know nothing else about it. Welwyn Garden City would be pre-empting the joke. Stevenage and Basildon have other connotations, at least for me. Anyway, a quick peek under the bonnet of this comedy maxi-wagon, hope you enjoyed it.

which did cheap tickets for students in at the local sixth-form college on Tuesdays, features as the nightclub in which the pub-crawling saddoes encounter the Marmalade Sandwich. It used to have an excellent record and bookshop called David's, plus a Martin's with a cafe upstairs. Actual facts!!!
