ABC reported this non-fact in their midday news today 02.12.2024. Does nobody even check the rubbish they are putting out there. For every mistruth they purvey, they should make a public apology and correction the next day - in the same media as the mistruth.

This is all such a storm in a teacup. All that’s being discussed is curtailing hh solar feed in occasionally if too much power is flowing into the grid. Internet connected inverters and software make this almost trivial. Having more power than you need potentially available is a first world problem.

So it seems we need more storage, which is in the pipeline. I wonder how much emergency intervention will be required for nuclear.... and how households will react when they find out

That's the elephant in the room. Set up market conditions to ensure nuclear has a slot as supplier of base load power, whether needed or not.
