Yesterday morning, I witnessed a trans Rabbi and a trans tutor bless a young trans woman's name change at the bimah of my synagogue, in the presence of the Torah. This was a gift to me and to my congregation. It was holy. Trans people are blessings. #lightindarkness @abbystein.bsky.social
