It has a lot of common letters. Mixed blessing - a 1️⃣ is brilliant, but lost forever, like a mayfly's majestic summer flight. I guess it's the fate of all starter words, sooner or later!🤩👌💥👏🙏
Early in Wordle lore, when people were still figuring out how things worked, I read an article where some smart guy (probably a statistician of some flavour) ran the math and determined that S-O-A-R-E was the ideal starting word.
I've used it ever since, to good but inconsistent results. 😅
i recently learned words aren't used twice, & there are lists of past words to avoid 'wasting' a guess. w/o giving anything away, if your guesses included a card suit, an extra, or outer... then all 3 were past words
