my take on all this: the folks who smuggled in signs, booed and chanted, walked out - those are the folks to watch here. they're the ones who pushed back

I am starting to believe that those who truly are going to fight fascism weren't even in the room. There are good Democrats, but the party is in a failed state, that is very much like the vanquished politicians of Vichy France.

I'm also ok with anyone who didn't disrupt -- as long as by attending, they became so deeply, personally, irrevocably offended that they wake up tomorrow with a categorically new approach to all this.
