this stuff is happening across the country and even more intensively downstream of the veterans admin but it's happening in so many places at once and without any public notification that it's still only barely emerging in the news

One thing Trump didn't talk about last night: his plans to abandon American women’s right to abortion care in medical emergencies. I wonder why he wouldn't want anyone to know that.

4 in 5 Americans support raising taxes on the rich — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress want to cut taxes for the rich and pay for it by slashing funding for nursing homes and school lunches.

Firing bird flu & nuclear safety workers isn’t efficiency—it’s chaos. House Republicans sit back, clapping at the mess. #GovernmentChaos

Trump’s trade war just sent the economy into a nosedive—wiping out post-election gains. While billionaires hoard tax breaks, working families pay the price. #TrumpSlump #TrumpTax

Trump’s at it again—trying to gut the CHIPS and Science Act, which created 115,000+ good-paying union jobs. Repealing it would devastate working families and send jobs overseas. #TrumpKillsJobs #StateoftheUnion

Trump campaigned hard on lowering costs for working families, but now he’s admitting pain is coming. Promises BROKEN.

Billionaires shouldn’t get tax breaks on the backs of working families. Adding $4.5 trillion to the federal deficit isn’t balanced.

DOGE hasn’t improved efficiency—it’s just made America and the world more dangerous. Another reckless Trump scam. #TrumpScam

Trump’s ‘mandate’ means nothing when rent’s up 6.1% and car insurance jumps 11.8%. America’s not back—it’s broke. #TrumpSpeech

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

The CHIPS Act he's slagging passed 64-33 and has led to over $50 billion in investment.

I won’t vote to give tax breaks to billionaires.

Just read this graf. Share it with people you know who don’t pay attention to politics or news.

Billionaires like Jeff Bezos shouldn’t pay a lower tax rate than a Boston public school teacher. The wealthiest and most powerful people in this country should be paying their fair share — not getting tax breaks from Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress.

Just want to add that "restoring" a program or team or mission is like glueing the fragments together after you broke something. It's not as though it didn't happen, as though you didn't damage it (and in this case, the glue has not been supplied or applied).

Gutting Alzheimer's research. First reported more than a week ago -- and as yet, this has not been undone. Republicans appear to have not said a word about it. abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru... See also... newrepublic.com/article/1917... See also... www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...

Honored to have spoken at the Pennsylvania Press Club on the state of our democracy and the fight for working families.

For the US to side with Russia and North Korea to oppose a UN resolution condemning the illegal invasion of Ukraine defies all common sense and adds insult to the countless injuries suffered by the brave Ukrainian people. edition.cnn.com/2025/02/24/p...

I have seen almost nothing assessing the scale of the impact of the wrecking of the USPS, if it goes through. But it would mess with voting by mail, prescriptions by mail, so many small and large businesses, how a lot of daily life now runs. Good for the NALC workers.

The President we could have had. Drop a 💙 and Repost if you proudly voted for Kamala Harris!

Trump pardoned the sentence of arguably the single biggest drug trafficker in American history on his second day in office!
