I have a psychology degree from a state school and I knew all this shit. Clearly he does too but he was hired to be Trump’s henchman, not to think. Which is all the more reason to fact check every lie that comes out of his mouth.
When I was helping my daughter study for the LSAT I learned a lot about logic. I realized that people like Giuliani not only understood that his own arguments were flawed, he knew the name of the particular fallacy. That’s a special kind of lying. JD Vance does that. He knows he’s wrong.
It feels like everyone is working shifts doing fact checks while they try to dismantle the entire infrastructure of the United States. Grab a tag, run to bring some reality to bear on their power grab, take a water break, do it again.

The court filing does not say that. It says he was denied bond in 2019 over an informant’s claim he was in MS-13. That’s not a conviction.
