Hoping @chenoweth.bsky.social and the Crowd Counting Consortium crunch the data on this one (that's where my Women's March figures came from). And all praise to the organizers!
I hope you're tallying actual attendance estimates and not just RSVPs. While I had no problem indicating my Woman's March attendance in 2017, I've made the decision not to add my name to the Hands Off RSVP list because Trump is more ruthless and not following the rule of law anymore.
Hooray for Waterloo, and I hope you send me a report. At least tag me in a photo. I live in a big usual suspect region, and it's the small and less usual places that really thrill me for stuff like this.
Waterloo is an industrial city with a longstanding Black community and a lot of immigrants, including thousands who may lose Humanitarian Parole status. It has deep histories of labor and civil rights activism. I'm actually not surprised at all to see stuff going on there!

All media outlets did extensive coverage of the Women's March in 2017. I just did a quick check on ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN websites. The only story I found was ABC, but I had to scroll pretty far down to see it and the headline makes it sound like a single rally.
There are at least five within a 30-minute drive from me, near Sacramento, CA - that's really amazing! Hoping they all have great turnout - but mostly that it all gets the coverage it deserves!
The weather will suck but the people will rally. We don't melt in rain and the big golfer will brood like a 5 year old. Eventually, he will be gone because evil only reigns for a time and then the people will take back our nation

My dad is traveling and attended the rally in Vienna today! 😍
