Kyiv is ready to accept Washington's proposal to immediately implement a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement, the Presidential Office announced on March 11 after the talks with the U.S. in Saudi Arabia.

Putin will not agree to the peace keepers. He won't agree to ceding the annexed territories. He has convinced Russians that the west is the enemy. He has convinced Russians that Ukraine is his. He wants Zelensky gone and replaced with a puppet. I don't see how he would agree.
US want Ukraine to ceasefire so Putin can hit his targets better. I’d love to see a real end to the war but the way Ukraine has been treated only a few days ago by the US suggests this another setup
This potential ceasefire, with restoration of U.S. aid & intelligence, is progress.
But:
1. Ukraine cannot trust our current Am government much more than you can trust the Russians.
2. The Russians might refuse, or they will violate. Either one would make it harder for Trump to force a surrender.
Putin hasn't agreed yet & probably will not, & if he does, he won't keep his word.
The ball is in Putin's court now, I'm curious about Trump's response to Putin when he doesn't accept. Putin is going to show Trump he is the boss. Trump will show his weakness, & who's side he is really on.
