Today, Speaker Burrows announced the committee assignments, and I have been assigned to the Committee on Public Education, and the Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial services.

As Republicans continue to fight to defund our public schools and in doing so to also destabilize our retired teachers pension fund, I look forward to using my position to be a strong advocate for our students, teachers, and retirees.
