This reminded me of my dad (who's had a goatee my entire life) shaved it one day randomly and my whole family got little 3 year old toddler me out of bed to say "goodbye" to my dad for work and I started sobbing
I think Jayce has handled other babies before but he was always clean shaven so this issue never happened before hand before anyone says Jayce def knows how to take care of a baby
tHe BeAn BaBieS?!?!?!

and yes, jayce, babies have bad eyesight, your face has a different color and shape now,
turn the kid around and talk to them, voice is still the same.
When my dad shaved his beard but kept his musache, he looked a bit like Freddie Mercury. Unfortunately, he had a goatee when I was born so he was never able to cash in on this. 😔 Love both Jayce's face and the baby's; like father, like child.
Not as a toddler, but when I was a kid my father did shave like this and I was like “Who are you? Dad? You look ugly!” Then my mom laughed at him and safer to say he never did it again.
fun fact this literally happened with my dad when my siblings & i were infants, we were so discombobulated & my mom was like "you can't just shave they don't have object permanence 😭" and that's why he had the same goatee beard & basic haircut until we were in double digits😔
I get shocked by how people look different with and without facial hair even as an adult. The babies are literally traumatized like “who tf are you and what happened to my dad you psychopath childnapper” and it’s the most worrying yet cutest thing to ever happen with kids
This is gold…!! I remember having the same reaction when my dad shaved for the first time when I was a kid - it was so shocking and strange, like he’d been body-snatched 😆
