In my twenties I lived in the UK for a few years. Shortly after moving back to the US I bumped into a former high school classmate. He asked me where I had been, and I told him England.
Then he asked me, seriously, "What language do they speak there?"

Y'all got me fooled 😁 (I know, it's plural). I would have thought you were by using "y'all". I know it only from the Southern American dialect. So I looked it up, and it seems like it also appears in South African and Sri Lankan English.

I also use it from time to time. Not enough declination in English grammar! 😁 You could also use "youse", so that everybody would identify as British, specifically as a Scouse speaker.
