If you choose to continue using Spotify, you can help us make a positive impact by listening to small indie artists featured in our playlists. These playlists includes bands and artists with fewer than 500 monthly listeners: https://www.submithub.com/link/sp500playlists
pro tip: if you have a desk job, and are used to listening to Spotify at work, you can buy bandcamp mp3s, put them on your work computer, and listen to them instead. this also cuts down on bandwidth use-- and lets face it, streaming media isn't good for the environment
Yes! Yes! Or you can just download the Bandcamp app, download the albums, and listen to them offline. That way, you access music on your phone's local storage and not from the internet. Also, a win! This is 1:1 replacement for Spotify or streaming services.
I bought a tape from Lee Evans for instance (who formerly recorded as hippies wearing muzzles, but now uses his name). In addition to the tape, he included a handwritten thank you note and a free download code for another album. Spotify doesn't give you that, folks
Does anyone even use Spotify any more? I even had the garage delete it from my car after they refused to terminate Joe Rogan. Funding grifters is not my thing.

here's one last random one for you: if you buy physical copies from small labels or artists, sometimes they send you extra freebies as a thank you.
