It’s hard to describe how the actor plays it but like…an arrogant, grasping sadist who’s a literal demon-alien-thing. It hurts him to do it but that makes it worse, because he needs to do it (or his peers will eat him alive) + he WANTS to do it because he RESENTS her, because she made him feel that.

So the only hint it ever happened is the actor playing even flintier henceforth, and the audience knowing what he did
