Senate Republicans want to put their stamp on Trump’s cost-cutting campaign via a rescissions package. But it’s not clear if the White House is interested.

Lol republicans are dumber than we thought. Economists: "The ship is going to sink." republicans: "Let's tie ourselves to it and show our loyalty to a man, and not the constitution." Just a pack of fools they have become.
Gee maybe those Dem Senators shouldnt have put through the Continuing Resolution. Who would have ever thought their colleagues across the aisle would immediately move to undercut it after the Dens stepped up to help them out.
DOGE claims they found billions in fraud. With fraud you have a crime, with crime you have a criminal. I haven't seen one person arrested for fraud yet. Why? Speak Up Dems!
A recissions package passed by Congress would require Trump to accept that he shares power with other branches of government. They are trying to establish a "unitary executive" a.k.a. a dictatorship. They will not acknowledge that Congress has a role.
They'd like to rubber-stamp these actions to give them an aura of democratic legitimacy, but that would undercut their tyrannical legitimacy, so no dice?
Stop framing it as a cost cutting campaign. You are using their language and basically implying they is the motive. The costs of what they are doing, the deficit they will be creating etc. will overall not lead to reduction in costs. #framingmatters do better. Analyze the facts.
