I feel the same way. This actually puts the 'social' back in social media. I feel like I'm looking at human posts and not just ragebait engagement farms. It's very healing for the soul I'd almost say.
Ads are inevitable if they want to make Bluesky profitable enough to actually run it but I hope they won't be as invasive as they are on some *other* sites.
twitter ads weren't so bad pre-elon. like i didn't mind seeing an ad for a movie i'm interested in or a deal at a local supermarket. but temu & crappy mobile games that took up the entire screen? awful.
i would just scroll past it. But hey, im here because people started moving, last time it happened i got an account on minds and some far right advocate said i was a commi scumbag for saying i would preffer bush brother over mr orange as president.
Come to think of it, I don't know if I have seen an ad in the mobile app yet, I hope they get some good ad sponsors at least for the longevity sake of the platform.
It's getting really bad cause I've been fooled couple times now in posts themselves. You get one human reply then reply 2 is always an ad but like... On topic? So frustrating.

Just people having fun it nice to see a lot of people happy 😊
where are all the mobile game ads or outrageous opinions?? then again i shouldnt complain
Even paid services just kinda slam them everywhere?? I'm ordering a Lyft why does the UI have ads I'm already giving you money??
Then again, I suppose a better Twitter will have to do for now.

Was so tired of scrolling and seeing ads I couldn't hide anymore every few seconds 3
… twitter wasn’t good for me
Hopefully it stays that way in the future
I would even block them, but guess what took their place 3 posts later?
More Trump advertising.
