Something I have found @wired.com that makes them stick out--& this is similar to @talkingpointsmemo.com--is they don't give in to herd mentality on what is interesting. Many others just base what they're covering on what's been trending on social media. @wired.com covers stories outside the bubble

They deserve our support.
1) they’re not from the traditionally political press so don’t have the same hive mind
2) tech is increasingly powerful in politics
3) the confluence of tech and politics is where 99% of scandals are coming from rn.
