Rachel Maddow @maddow.msnbc.com MUST stay on 5 days a week past 100 days. Her coverage (and that of @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com) are truly the only must see TV news right now. And Democracy is at stake.

Absolutely! They are the best purveyors and explainers of facts, in the world of political machinations, on any sort of news/current affairs programmes. Also, Rachel’s podcasts,& her books are absolutely brilliant too. She’s a superstar.
Agree @maddow.msnbc.com talks about each of us doing what we can to save our country. This is the role she can play. Her country needs her to keep our resistance movements visible and motivated and to keep a spotlight on what the administration does more than on what they say.
I totally agree we stopped watching the news as soon as 47 came in. I do FB and bluesky I know more about what’s going on by reading in the morning and bluesky I get clips of Rachel and Lawrence on some news clips here and online. couldn’t tell you who is on other channels our local news is garbage
I honestly don’t understand what project of hers would be more impactful than providing sane, honest, hard-hitting daily news roundups. #StayOnAirRachel
If Rachel Maddow stops broadcasting, the last firewall between us and AI-generated Founding Fathers reenactments on Fox News collapses. Democracy deserves at least 5 nights of dry sarcasm per week
@maddow.msnbc.com is doing something with her program that nobody else seems to be doing and that is essential:
She is telling the people's story, showing the massive resistance and its results, connecting the dots across the nation for us to have that vision of our collective strength and power.
Actually, I don't agree b/c Rachel Maddow is a genius and she knows when it's too much for one person. I trust her to let us know when and what to pay attention to. But, I get what you're saying and agree that it would be nice to move in with Rachel or Lawrence & just stay there for the duration:+)
Wagner was terrible and Psaki is worse. Psaki was good as Press Secretary but so so bad as a journalist. Two of the fired would have been good Joy and Phang.
She just said tonight she’s going back to Mondays only. I won’t watch Jen so it’s back to Rachel on Mondays and Chris 4 nights and that’s it. Without anything in between him and Lawrence I’m afraid I won’t switch back over. Sucks, she’s the best thing on tv bar none! So so so sad! 😢😞😢😞😢😞
I hope Maddow reconsiders going back to one day a week. I like Jen Psaki but she's not the one to fill Rachel's shoes. These times call for a heavier hitter. MSNBC needs to consider rehiring Brian Williams.
YES! Jen S. is great, but Rachel has the right kind of strength, humor, empathy and perspective we need right now. she is giving me strength. Frankly, I am going to feel lost without her.
Jen Psaki has been over promoted. I really don’t know what additional value she brings to the table to get that 9pm slot. She’s not a reporter but a political hack - who states the obvious. The 9pm slot is dead to me. Play-off basketball gets my attention.
Being on air five days a week to report on this dumpster fire of an administration must be mentally and emotionally exhausting, so I can see how @maddow.msnbc.com might need to reduce her schedule. Could we maybe compromise on three days a week? Pretty please 🙏🏻
Rachel needs to do what’s best for her. Being responsible for compiling all the sh*t this administration shovels out on a daily basis to present on air must be taxing. I’m willing to let Jen Psaki find her footing. I thought she was an excellent press secretary and will excel in due time.
I am already grieving her leaving. I love Jen Psaki but she does not have the depth of scholarship that Rachel has. And I need that these days. She helps me make connects I might not otherwise make.
I've been a dedicated Maddow watcher for years. While I love and respect her, none of her reporting podcasts or insights has stymied the fascist takeover.
I’ll go back to watching O’Donnell four nights a week and catching Rev. Al on the weekends. I’ll watch Michael Steele occasionally but I prefer his podcast when he’s not muted on his message. If they let Steele and Tim Miller do a show in Maddow’s place and let them speak candidly, I’d watch that.
I’ve posted this repeatedly recently and couldn’t agree more. @maddow.msnbc.com is essential to our ability to survive this horrid clown show parading as a presidency. So let’s do something about it!👇🏻
I like Rachel a lot. But she has her own ambitions beyond the nightly gig. I wish MSNBC would show some strength and give Mehdi Hasan the spot. Fat chance.
She and everyone else needs to be leading people out into the streets and slowing down these fascists. Watching TV ain't gonna save us. The die is cast.
Agree. And she needs to be safe. She’s a strong, intelligent, independent woman. She’s also a publicly out lesbian who has gone after Trump and repeatedly exposed his crimes. She’s everything he hates and is likely at the top of his list of “homegrown“ criminals and terrorists.
I wish that would happen.she may want it. But MSNBC also signed a contract with Jen Psaki. Feel like I can’t do it without her. Watch them both. At least she’ll be here Mondays.

I'll be there every Monday.
Lots of solid talent at MSNBC. Jen's OK, wd rather have Alex back.
We'll all have to just do the best we can.
Anybody remember newspapers?
She is telling the people's story, showing the massive resistance and its results, connecting the dots across the nation for us to have that vision of our collective strength and power.
And, Nicolle!

This is how I’ve managed to stay sane-ish.

Nobody watches MSNBC or CNN anymore…they’ve been MAGA lite for years.
Jen Psaki isn’t the person for this moment. I won’t be watching. @msnbc.com
