Why I can't sleep: The Nuremberg Laws of 1935 stripped Jews of German citizenship. If one parent was a Jew, they & their children were no longer German citizens, even if the other parent was German. Today SCOTUS basically said they're ok with that rule here! For at least a generation, RIP America.

Orwell predicted the Big Lie. Hitler and Goebbels perfected it. Trump and Putin recycle it. Republicans and Fox regurgitate it. Freedom-loving Americans must NEVER stop resisting it. Because democracy dies in Big Lies.

🙌💙Actions speak loudest.

🚨 Republicans rammed the #MAGAMurderBudget through the House. Massive turnout for the #NoKings protests won't mean ANYTHING unless people also VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS UP & DOWN THE BALLOT. FLIPPING THE HOUSE BLUE is critical. Donate today. #Blue26 secure.actblue.com/donate/house...

Big money also went after Jimmy Carter who was one of the most decent people who ever lived and spent time as POTUS!

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it. - Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders. - Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

Keep it going!

The world is shit, but I discovered this today. Happy Friday! youtu.be/YM-BTJKIz0Q?...

Sometimes this place goes out of its way to remind you that the world is beautiful.

When Dan Rather is telling Dems that, The time to ‘play it safe’ is long past, maybe they’d better listen! open.substack.com/pub/steady/p...

“So much of the economy — the soul — of Utah, whether it is quiet recreation, roaring three-wheelers or grazing cattle, is built on our being a public lands state. If our elected officials want to serve us, they must keep it that way.”

On the subject of resisting doomerism

Part of the reason that universal injunctions became so prevalent seems to be because Presidents are increasingly making huge legal/policy changes via executive order. Maybe we can get back to Congress actually making the law and the executive merely enforcing it??

Good

Yes, maybe that’s what historians will eventually call the period of US history from 1965 to the present.

States can deny Medicaid funding for ANY ideological reason The Supreme Court Ruling would also deny taking cases to court for states denying the funding 18 red states are already filing to end funding Fuck the 6 Conservative Ruling on South Carolina Denial of Planned Parenthood Funding

Cubs Win! Cubs Win! ⚾️🐻💙 Fly the W!!!!!!

Pete Crow-Armstrong, Kyle Tucker and Carson Kelly advance to Phase 2 of All-Star voting for the Cubs.

The Supreme Court asserts that issues like abortion and trans health care should be left to the democratic process. However, they fail to acknowledge that this process has been undermined by their own rulings, Susan Rinkunas writes. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/scot...
