The goal is two-fold: It would allow prosecutors to target Texas abortion funds, and it would isolate teens—stripping them of any community support from friends, family, trusted adults, etc.

SC Sen. Richard Cash introduced the same bill here. I wouldn’t be able to drive my own adult daughter out of state. His bill makes it a crime to give someone a phone number for an abortion clinic or even tell her she can get an abortion. It’s cruel. But that’s their goal.
