There was a collection of recipes, I think @cbleighb.bsky.social may have been involved, not sure, but learning to cook (which will save you $)is better done with the internet or things like fanny farmer type cookbook for beginners, are you at all adequate at chemistry? 🤠
Biggest key is read through everything before you start, and make sure you understand the vocabulary, with the internet you don't have to call Gramma to find out what fold in the melted chocolate means, but I'll bet lots of Earpers would help if you needed 🤠
Read through first is solid advice. Lots of beginner books out there, like Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything: the Basics. Look at different books (library?) to see what works for you. And save by buying used!
