Conservatives WANT big government programs but just for themselves and they want someone else to pay for them. They believe that free speech means they can lie but others can't tell the truth. They believe in their freedom to limit other people's choices. Selfishness is a core value.

I just want the same rights, respect and responsibility as everyone else who's chosen a "lifestyle" that doesn't agree with (insert specific religion here). If a Catholic can treat a Mormon (heretic) or divorced/remarried person (adulterer) with respect, they can sure as heck do the same for me.
