Content scrapers post images without permission or credit to the original creators. They rack up followers and then sometimes sell the accounts, making money off other people's work. Please consider blocking them and if you want to avoid all of them you can use this block list. Thank you!

Manually blocking every single one of these accounts back on twitter was so fatiguing. You block one and there's 10 more that post the same exact shit.

Truly horrible accounts
Also, I'm excited to learn about Moderation Lists. They could be powerful tools to curate and block specific type of unhelpful accounts that are unhelpful for some users, or aren't yet removed by Bluesky.
We share all our own images of places and nature and always with alt text.
Thank you for putting this together!
A few people have suggested using alt text, and I have to confess that I keep forgetting to! Is it worth doing? Does it make a big difference to people?
Making Bluesky accessible is a really big deal here. Alt text helps a lot of people, like those with vision issues but also when photos won't load the alt text does so it's not just blank. So yes, very much worth doing! (A lot of people will block accounts who don't) (1/2)
it makes a big difference to folks who need it from what I understand. maybe some of them can chime in?
His photos of birds are always wonderful! I'm not sure about the alt text though, so that may be disqualifying.
Funny - kind of easier to do a block list than a comprehensive feed.
This Feed is kinda like that
