Imagine if you had ADHD and were turned into a vampire and then had to go around finding people who just took their adderall to feed from just to function.

It is easier, but it's still not easy. Even fast-acting adhd meds take 30-45 min to start working, so you'd have to mind control them, have them take the pill, wait 30-45 min depending on things like their weight, then drain them. And then 🧵
... you'd have to do it again 3-4 hours later because that's how long fast-acting meds last, so basically every two hours, you'd have to find a new victim if you account for the time it takes for the meds to hit their bloodstream.
And not just vampires - I’ve often ended up frying my Irish ADHD ass in the sun by losing track of the time and forgetting to reapply sunblock (if I remembered in the first place 😩)
Same. I could spontaneously combust if I'm out in the sun for too long! I am so white that an ex once told me that it hurt to look at me in direct sunlight, and he wasn't joking. 😆🧛♀️
I mean usually when someone is turned into a vampire it makes them immune to any illness/disease. So if we still had adhd after becoming a vampire then that would mean we were the ones who were neurotypical all along. We would probably be very destructive until meds found since off them appetite ⬆️
Vyvanse(Lisdexamfetamine) active ingredient only works after it's hydrolyzed by red blood cells. It was to prevent people from getting high on it. You could theoretically get high by mixing it with blood first
Okay, first of all, the counting rice thing is peak autistic vampire.
Second of all... Maybe someone with experience with ADHD meds can weigh in. Would they disrupt the hyperfixation thing, or would they make the counting worse?
Funny thought I had recently: the theory of how vampires work should have been enough proof (in medieval times) for the fact that they don’t exist. If they bite someone every night, who turns into a vampire, their numbers would grow exponentially, and within months everyone would be a vampire…
Depends on which mythology you're basing your vampires on! In many they can't eat or take medication, but are affected by any drugs in the victim's bloodstream.

(I've given this way too much thought)
So I guess… here’s to our exes telling it how it was? 🥂😅

It’s 1984, a vampire is terrorizing Miami. For some reason, their attacks seem to have stopped except for one group; wealthy execs and movie stars.
Cut to a shot of a vampire discussing how this new drug is making them more mellow.
