Body autonomy is a good argument, but the idea that it's a new one is nonsensical.
Pro-choice advocates have been arguing for DECADES that a pregnant woman has less bodily autonomy than a corpse, and also that no already born person can command the use of anyone else's body parts without consent.
I've made this exact argument before, but he rightfully gets credit because he got it out there. One additional point: In his scenario, he has greater rights as a fetus than as an full human being.
I suggested a few years ago a Democrat should propose a bill that required organ donation. Because, of course, organ donation saves lives. This was just to get Republicans to argue that dead people have bodily autonomy and essentially make a pro-choice case for women.
Good on him for speaking up & getting through to GenZ but I wouldn't be a petty old Millennial if I didn't point out feminists have made this argument before. Even when yr dead yr organs can't be taken unless you are an organ donor. Corpses have more bodily autonomy in this country than pregnant ppl
