Texas has in total, solar projects of 154.2GW are queued for connection, with 149GW battery storage and significant wind (33.9GW). This is waiting for connection! Texas right this second is getting 22% of its energy from solar. This was like 3.5% in 2021.

Even cooler is watching Texas battery storage actually being used not just for back up but in place of natural gas plants. Probably cause the spread on charging and discharging is lucrative.
